I had purchased this grill and realized that the pole was too short for my style of cooking. I purchased an 8 ft, 5/8" galvanized rod and cut it in half. This enabled the rod to be inserted into the ground 1 foot (for stability) and still have 3ft of cooking height to adjust the grill. This season I am going to purchase a second one and have a two tier cooking grill, one for already cooked items to be kept warm and one to cook. Again a great product and I buying one for my brother."

All of my friends agree, as they all had to try it out. It's very portable with it's own carry bag, and can be used anywhere. Good sized cooking space and it will hold a whole seasoned chicken in foil. Throw a few wood chips in with the charcoal and have some darn good open fire eats."
